Diforti Vegan Pandolce – Pandolce is a festive classic hailing from Genoa, representing the wealth of the city and it’s maritime past. The zesty dried fruit Christmas cake is traditionally brought to the table by the youngest member of the family and cut by the eldest, with the first slice offered to a person in need passing by and the second slice to be wrapped and served on 3rd February, the feast day of San Biageo. Diforti’s Vegan Pandolce encompasses plump sultanas for their fruity flavour and sourdough for a lighter, more open texture of this delightfully dense and crumbly cake.
