A modern, very fruit-focused Ribera del Duero. The nose is of blackcurrant and blueberry, with a rich palate of blackcurrant fruit pastile. A dynamic winery founded in 1990 by Josefina Martín Berdugo in the heart of Ribera del Duero and now run by her son, the charismatic Antonio Díez Martín. The wine style is decidedly modern, with plenty of pure, ripe fruit, but with a nod to the traditional in the use of American oak.
